Unexpectedly Fairytalelike
Only a few kilometres to the West of Slatina, in the shadow of old poplars, linden-trees and chestnuts and surrounded by fertile fields, there is the two-hundred years old estate – the ‘Višnjica’ wasteland. Life there is slow and nature and man are very much connected. This fairytalelike corner of Slavonia is a home for horses, cows and the bull named Jozo. Get to know them and then take a walk. You can research the estate also by riding a bike (that you can rent there) or on a horse – we recommend horseback riding school for starters and a carriage ride for romantics. The estate is also an excellent starting point for trips to the Papuk Nature Park or a picnic along the Drava. Fall asleep in one of the comfortable hotel rooms or apartments and resume the adventure next day.
